History of the Walde business
The company is founded
Marianne and Gerhard E. Walde found the property brokerage firm in Zurich. Later moved to Zollikon.
Walde in Uster
Walde expands into the Zürcher Oberland: a second office is opened in Uster. The estate agent has 17 employees at this point.
Walde in Thalwil
The left bank of Lake Zurich gets its own Walde branch based at Thalwil.
Investment property: combined expertise
A separate business unit is founded in Zurich for apartment buildings and office buildings.
Walde in Luzern
There is now a new estate agent in Central Switzerland based in Lucerne.
1,000 properties sold
Walde concludes its 1000th property transaction in 2002.
200 properties sold in a single year
Walde reaches over 200 successfully sold properties in a single year in 2007. We continue to grow.
25th jubilee year with 40 employees
Walde celebrates its 25th anniversary and has 40 employees.
Walde in Baden
Walde has a presence in the Canton of Aargau with its new office in Baden. The company has over 50 employees.
Walde in Sursee
With a second branch in Sursee, Lake Sempach in the Canton of Lucerne, Walde has moved closer to its customers.
New build property becomes its own department.
A new build department is established to provide comprehensive advice around marketing new build projects. The company has over 60 employees.
35th jubilee year, new brand presented
Walde & Partner celebrates its 35th anniversary and presents the new brand Walde, to be introduced the following year.
